Afterlight (Tommy Hilfiger Series Part II) (Look 93)

There's something magical about light. Light has the power to change the way we look at things. It can change perspectives, places, things and can even affect our mood. It's a natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible. Believe it or not, light travels at 186,000 miles per SECOND. In other words the light you're seeing right now was still tucked away in the sun about eight minutes ago. Ok. Now you  have a better understanding of why I said there was something magical about light, right? 

I wanted to talk about this subject on this post because I truly believe that lighting is everything, especially when it comes to photography. 

 It's not easy to capture a beautiful soft glow, but personally I think that this series are a good example. 

Now you know, light takes twice as long to get from the sun to the Earth as it does to make a cup of coffee ; )

Hay algo realmente mágico de la luz. La luz tiene el poder de cambiar la forma en la que vemos las cosas que nos rodean. Puede cambiar desde la perspectiva y el lugar, hasta nuestro estado de ánimo. Es un agente natural que estimula nuestra visión. Creerlo o no, la luz viaja a 168,000 millas por SEGUNDO. En otras palabras la luz que estamos viendo en este momento estuvo saliendo del sol aproximadamente ocho minutos. Ok, ahora creo que entienden un poco más el porque dije que hay algo mágico de la luz. 

Decidí tocar este tema porque personalmente creo que la iluminación lo es todo, especialmente cuando se trata de la fotografía.No es fácil captar el brillo sutil y natural en una foto, sobre todo en interiores y creo que estas series son un gran ejemplo. 

Ahora saben, la luz toma el doble de tiempo en llegar del sol a la tierra que el tiempo que nos toma preparar una taza de café.
