I can't describe how happy I am to be writing the first post on my new baby Stereotypemess. I've been working on this new project for a while now and I'm so exited to finally be able to show it to you! Some of you may know me from my first blog with Hola! Magazine and some of you may have absolutely no clue of who I am or what I've been doing for the past few years of my life. And I don't blame you, 'cause I really don't know either. But for the ones that don't know me I have a few things that you might be interested to know about me. Where I'm from and what I'm all about. I was born and raised in Mexico City and just let me clarify this: NO, we don't only eat tacos or ride donkey's to go to school or work.
I can't explain how in love I am with my beautiful city and one of the things that I would really love to show you in this blog is the true essence and beauty of my country.
I moved to NYC to pursue my passion, which happens to be fashion and photography and studied Fashion Design at Parsons University, meanwhile having the privilege to work with one of my favorite designers Carolina Herrera, from who I learned more that I could ever imagine about the world of fashion and it's ins and outs. I'm currently living in Los Angeles where I began working with Hola! Magazine as a contributor, writing Fashion reviews for Milan, Paris and New York fashion weeks. I like meaningful conversations, authentic people, strong coffee, a good books that I can curl up with on a rainy day and best of all I'm in love with life and my super handsome cat named Valentino that you may see striking a pose in some of my pictures.
