24 HOURS in: Boston #stereotypemessrecommends

Greetings from Boston!

I can't believe this is my first time in this amazing city!

I've always wanted to come here to visit a few friends that were studying but for some reason I never had the chance.
Now that I can officially say I've been in Boston, I want to share some of my favorite places with you.
These are my top recommendations to eat brunch, dinner, drink a delicious cup of Stumptown Coffee or just enjoy a nice walk day at the park.

I hope you find it useful!

Newbury Street:
For the fashion lovers, Newbury St., which runs about eight blocks from Arlington to Mass Ave, is the perfect way to start your trip. Here you will find stores like Dolce & Gabbana, CHANEL and Armani just to name a few. Also on the lower half of the street from Essex to Mass Ave., you can find smaller boutiques, coffee shops, hair salons  and chains like ZARA an H&M.
Newbury Street:

Boston Common Park.
This iconic park was founded in 1634 and it's right across from Newbury Street.
I found this beautiful place ideal to go for a walk with a nice cup of coffee or ice cream (if it's not snowing obviously) after having done some shopping or simply to go running outdoors while listening your favorite playlist.

Boston Common Park.

Coffee break at The Thinking Cup.

The Thinking Cup is the perfect cafe to cozy up. It is located right on Newbury Street and many locals consider it as a classic. They serve Stumptown Coffee which means they have the BEST lattes in the city. I also recommend the food if you're in the mood for a quick bite before heading to the next store. I ordered the Italian  sandwich and a cup of hot almond latte.

Coffee break en The Thinking Cup.

Brunch at Mistral
Mistral is today considered one of the best spots to eat brunch in Boston.
The menu has the perfect mix of brunch classics, modern and innovative new dishes, and some dishes that have both things too. Cool ambiance and great cocktails. Must try: Truffle Deviled Eggs, Warm Cinnamon Buns and the Confit of duck & root vegetable hash, farm fresh eggs sunny side up.

Date night at O Ya.
If you are a true fan of sushi and you're looking for a true culinary experience, this is definitely your place. O Ya is a Japanese restaurant that combines to perfection the traditional style with a modern sophisticated touch.
O Ya has 40 seats, half of them in a long bar right in front of the amazing chef Tim Cushman.

Must try: Kumamoto oyster with watermelon and cucumber, Blue Fin tuna Maguro, Soy Marinated Salmon, Legs and Eggs, Homemade fingerling potato chip, Salmon Tartare

Date night at O Ya
